It's an odd place to be, sitting here in Ventura. Is this war even just? I know these things: Bush is a Christian who seeks God and Christian counsel in his decisions. Some of you may not agree with those two statements... nor this next one: "All that is necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world Nor even these next ones: "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except for God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. I wonder what a Christian Iraqi in Hussein's military would have to do? Is this war even just? It seems to me that God has put some things into motion-- things only He truly understands-- using a Tyrant and a God-fearing Man. Just a thought: i wonder who the Tyrant is and who the God-fearing Man is to the Iraqi citizen? Guess that depends on who the true God is... Allah or Jehovah. I will support my country, our troops, and our leader... trusting completely that Jehovah knows what He's doing... ...on the brink of war.
