The brink of war.

It's an odd place to be, sitting here in Ventura.
I asked the man behind the counter at a local fast food restaurant how he was doing, just being kind. He said he was a bit scared [because of the war].

Is this war even just?
I don't know.

I know these things:

Bush is a Christian who seeks God and Christian counsel in his decisions.
Hussein is a liar who does not seek the Living God in anything.

Some of you may not agree with those two statements... nor this next one:

Nor even these next ones:

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except for God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves."

I wonder what a Christian Iraqi in Hussein's military would have to do?

Is this war even just?
I don't know.

It seems to me that God has put some things into motion-- things only He truly understands-- using a Tyrant and a God-fearing Man.

Just a thought: i wonder who the Tyrant is and who the God-fearing Man is to the Iraqi citizen?

Guess that depends on who the true God is... Allah or Jehovah.

I will support my country, our troops, and our leader... trusting completely that Jehovah knows what He's doing...
