Webster's defines "testimony" as "firsthand authentication of a fact." My entire life, then, is a testimony-- a conglomeration of experiences, facts and beliefs that enable me to testify that God is who He claims to be. If that is the only reason He placed me on this earth, I am more thrilled. What greater honor than to be able to look back at my life and see tangible fingerprints from God's very hand? With that hand He has comforted and disciplined me, He has shown me great and mighty things (most of which I still don't understand), He has transformed my heart and indulged me in His presence. And if He were to take me home this instant-- hallelujah!-- I would never look back. So rather than focus on the rock-strewn road that has marked my faith journey, I'd rather use this page to testify to the goodness, majesty, justice and beauty of God. May He come quickly...
